New York New York Botanical Gardens "Orchid Show"

The 17th annual Orchid Show transports visitors to the island nation of Singapore, where an orchid is the national flower.
The Enid A. Haupt Conservatory will feature mesmerizing tropical orchids in displays that pay homage to Singapore’s achievements in orchid cultivation and conservation as well as garden design.
The exhibition will highlight varieties from NYBG’s permanent collection that dazzle with exotic colors, fragrance, and patterns.
Take a tram ride throughout the gardens to see what’s in bloom.
Afterwards we'll head over to Arthur Ave. for lunch; (on your own) at one of the many restaurants. In addition, you may want to visit the farmers market to pick up some of your favorite Italian staples.
Price: $59.00 includes transportation, admissions to NYBG, & tram ticket.
