Spring is in the air and what better time to visit the Culinary Institute of America where students get the opportunity to show
off their talents serving and cooking for us (completely supervised by professionals). See Menu Below
After lunch we will make our way through the Hudson Valley to visit the Boscobel Mansion, built between 1804 & 1808. Boscobel was originally the dream house of wealthy Loyalists and by the 1950’s, after falling into disrepair, it was demolished.
Preservationists saved as many architectural fragments and reassembled them fifteen miles north of its original spot. This Neoclassical mansion was restored back to – and even beyond – its original grandeur and is now a beautiful piece of art.
Located in the heart of the Hudson Valley, Boscobel overlooks Constitution Marsh toward the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, showcasing dramatic views of the Hudson River.
Our lunch Menu will be:
Chopped Salad with grilled Red Bliss Potatoes, Sieved Eggs, Avocado, Bacon, Blue Cheese, Red Wine Vinaigrette
Choose your entrée:
Pan-Roasted Sea Bass with grilled marinated summer vegetables, fingerling potatoes, w/caper vinaigrette
Roasted Pork Loin with crispy mushroom (polenta), Merlot sauce, & sautéed spinach.
Dessert we will have Vanilla Bean Cheesecake with house-made graham cracker, Blueberry Compote, & Honey-Thyme Ice Cream.
